Richard H. Wilkinson Director of the University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition, has been engaged in excavation and research in the Valley of the Kings for many years. In 1994 he hosted an international conference at Arizona where leading Egyptologists presented the latest research on the valley - subsequently published under Dr. Wilkinson's editorship as Valley of the Sun Kings. His other books include Reading Egyptian Art, Symbol and Magic in Egyptian Art and The Complete Temples of Ancient Egypt.
